Registration & Conference Logistics

1. What are the registration fees for the conference?

Please check the registration-related page on the official conference website (Click here) for the latest fee structure.

2. Is any discount available on the registration fee?

No. The registration fee is fixed, and no discount is offered.

3. How do I register for CTRG-2025?

All registrations must be completed online through the official portal: https://ctrg2025reg.trgindia.org/user_login. Fill in the required details, verify your email, and make payment using the provided gateway.

4. Is on-spot registration available?

Yes. On-spot registration will be available at a higher fee. Please see the Registration Details page for the updated rates and conditions.

5. Can I transfer my registration to another participant?

No. Registrations are non-transferable and remain linked to the name and email ID used at the time of payment.

6. How many papers can I present with a single registration?
A single registration allows an author to present up to two papers. Presentations made in the Young Professionals Conference (YPC) are not counted toward this limit.

7. What is the registration process for additional authors who also want to attend?
Each co-author who wishes to attend must register individually and pay the applicable fee as per the Registration page.

8. I paid the registration fee through UPI mode. Although the amount has been debited from my account, I have not received the receipt.
The bank generally needs to verify your payment status. If the payment has not been processed, the amount will be refunded to your account within two business days, and you will need to register again. A payment receipt will be issued once the transaction is successfully completed. We therefore request you to wait for two business days. 9. Will I receive a participation or presentation certificate?

Yes, all registered participants attending the conference will receive a certificate of participation. Authors presenting papers will additionally receive a presentation certificate.

10. Can I attend/present my paper in online mode?
No. CTRG-2025 is an in-person conference and does not provide virtual presentation options.

11. What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Cancellation requests must be emailed by the registered author to ctrg2025@gmail.com on or before 5 December 2025, 5:00 P.M. (IST).

• Refunds will be processed after the conference, with 20% cancellation charges plus applicable taxes deducted.

• No refund requests will be accepted after 5 December 2025.

12. If the registered author cannot attend, can an unregistered co-author present and get a certificate?
No. Registration is non-transferable.

• Every author or co-author who wishes to attend or present must register individually.

• Certificates of presentation will be issued only to the registered author who actually presents the paper.

• A non-author is not permitted to present on behalf of the registered author.

13. What does the registration fee include?
The registration fee includes:

• Access to more than 350 presentations, 8 keynotes, 15 invited lectures, 5 Special Sessions, and 3 panel discussions

• Conference Material and Mobile App

• Welcome Reception and Dinner on Wednesday (December 17, 2025) at the Conference venue, IIT Guwahati

• Conference Dinner on Thursday (December 18, 2025) and Friday (December 19, 2025) at the Conference venue, IIT Guwahati

• 3 Lunches and 5 coffee/tea breaks (December 18 – 20, 2025)

14. Will visa invitation letters be provided for international participants?
Yes. The conference secretariat can issue an official invitation letter for visa purposes after registration and fee payment. Contact ctrg2025@gmail.com with your registration details.

Accommodation & Transportation:

1. What accommodation options are available for the conference??

Limited hostel accommodation is available exclusively for registered participants at IIT Guwahati. Guest House rooms inside the campus are very limited.

For off-campus options, please see the list of nearby hotels provided on the conference website.

2. Can I book accommodation before 16 December 2025 or after 21 December 2025?

No. Institute accommodation (hostels/guest house) will be available only from 16 December 2025 afternoon to 21 December 2025 forenoon.

3. How do I book IIT Guwahati Guest House or hostel accommodation?

A Google Form link will be emailed to all registered participants in the last week of October 2025.

The form will remain open for one week.

Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis.

After receiving the payment link, participants must complete payment within 48 hours; otherwise, the booking request will be cancelled.

4. I submitted the accommodation form, but did not receive a payment link. Why?

Payment links are sent only until all rooms are booked. If you have not received a link, it means all Guest House/hostel rooms are already allotted.

5. Which railway station is closest to IIT Guwahati?

Kamakhya Railway Station – approx. 13 km from campus (recommended).

Guwahati Railway Station – another nearby option (approx. 20 km).

Auto-rickshaws, prepaid taxis, and app-based cabs (Ola, Uber, Rapido) are available from both stations

6. What is the nearest airport to IIT Guwahati?

The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Guwahati Airport) is about 25 km from IIT Guwahati. Prepaid taxis and app-based cabs (Ola, Uber, Rapido) are easily available.

7. Will the organizers provide pick-up or drop-off transport?

No. Participants are requested to arrange their own transport to and from the campus.

8. Is there local transport available within IIT Guwahati?

Yes. The campus has shared e-rickshaws, and all accommodation, conference venues, and dining areas are within comfortable walking distance.

9. Are accommodation charges included in the conference registration fee?
No. Accommodation charges are separate and must be paid directly through the payment link provided after successful booking. Please note that, accommodation charges once paid are non-refundable.

10. Will bedding be provided in hostel rooms?
Yes. Each room will have basic bedding and a bucket. Participants are advised to carry personal toiletries and warm clothing, as December nights can be cool.

11. Is early morning or late-night campus entry possible?

Yes. IIT Guwahati has a 24×7 main gate. However, participants should carry their conference registration confirmation for smooth entry.
